An Arts District operative sends word that JR, the French Street Artist and 2011 TED prize winner, spent the day installing a new wheat paste work in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District as part of current series "Wrinkle In The City: LA Edition." It replaces a piece by DFace and is located on the east facing wall of the E. 3rd building owned by Paul Solomon that is home to the now infamous Shepard Fairey wheat-paste.
Also on the scene is Downtown Muse who was assisting a photographer shooting a time laspe film of today's installation. Earlier The Muse posted photos of JR's work on MOCA's Geffen, six artworks in three sections facing Alameda between 1st and Temple.
