Janis Joplin's Porsche 356 arrived at the Grammy Museum this morning. Painted by Dave Richards, who according to rock-n-roll lore, was the roadie who painted the formerly white Porsche at Joplin's request.
The psychedelic import will be part of The Grammy Museum's April exhibition Strange Kozmic Experience that will take visitors on a trip into the hearts, minds and music of Jimmy Hendrix, The Doors, and Janis Joplin.
The current exhibition, Elvis at 21, Photographs by Alfred Wertheimer, is about to leave the building.

I really need to be in this event.. This seems really fun with all the exhibits.. wuhoo
