The Los Angeles Conversation Corps, Arts District BID, Million Trees L.A., and The Los Angeles River Artists & Business Association are working together to add some green in the Arts District. 50 volunteers are estimated to be needed to plant 38 trees. The project, headed by Tim Keating, is also co-sponsored by Wurstküche, Zip Fusion and Cafe Metropol.Volunteers will meet at East 3rd and Santa Fe at 9am, then plant toward the west. There will be an informal lunch / tree planting after party near the triangle parking lot in Joel Bloom Square.
