Bedlam Magazine reports on RIchard Godfrey, "one of the most gifted, successful and
well-liked veterans of the Arts District arts scene." Godfrey suffered injuries after a fall while working with a hanging installation for Phantom Galleries in Long Beach. Despite "multiple broken bones, a compressed lung and
head trauma" and four hours of surgery, he is reported as showing improvement. Says a friend who visited Godfrey, who is still in ICU at St Mary's Hospital: "He's
grumbling, which for him is pretty normal."
