DINNER THEATER: For the spectators watching from 6th and Olive, this may have looked like the 6th and Grand "Famima!!" was under attack. This pyrotechnic special effect simulating a car bomb explosion happened in the middle of the 500 block of West 6th Street Sunday. The impressive 4pm fireball was in front of empty retail––standing in as D.C. cafe––and will be seen in the TV pilot "Washington Field," a new CBS drama about a FBI team that responds to global crisis. I bravely took some photos from inside ShowBiz Ribs, which may not be a bad place to evacuate during threats to national security . . . or the continued rapid-deployment of "Famima!!" around Downtown.
